Uninstall MacWarden
MacWarden can be removed cleanly in under a minute. Follow the steps below to uninstall the app and all associated files.
Quit MacWarden
Make sure MacWarden is not running. Right-click the MacWarden icon in the Dock and choose Quit, or press ⌘Q while MacWarden is in focus.
Move MacWarden to the Trash
Open your Applications folder, find MacWarden.app, and drag it to the Trash. Alternatively, right-click the app and choose Move to Trash.
Remove remaining files (optional)
MacWarden stores a small amount of data in your Library folder — preferences and caches. To remove them completely, open Finder, press ⇧⌘G, and go to each path below. Delete the MacWarden folder or file you find there.

Empty the Trash
Right-click the Trash icon in the Dock and choose Empty Trash to permanently remove MacWarden and all associated files.
Common questions
Will uninstalling MacWarden affect my Mac?
No. MacWarden does not modify system files, install kernel extensions, or change macOS settings. Removing it leaves your Mac exactly as it was before installation.
Do I need to deactivate my license before uninstalling?
If you plan to reinstall on a different Mac, deactivate your license first from macwarden.com/account so the seat becomes available. If you are uninstalling permanently and no longer need the license, no action is required.
Will I lose my subscription when I uninstall?
No. Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. Your license key remains valid and can be used on another Mac. To cancel your subscription, visit the Cancel Subscription page.
Can I reinstall MacWarden later?
Yes, at any time. Download MacWarden again from macwarden.com/download and enter your existing license key — your Pro features will be restored immediately.
